Splish! Splash! I was taking a bath....
One of Hayden's favorite parts of the day is bath time! He LOVES it! He could be the grumpiest of grumpies, but as soon as he hits the tub... all his worries wash away. He plays and splashes and laughs. His daddy bathes him and then the playtime is on...Bath time at our house could last up to 30 - 45 minutes or longer!! And when he is out, dried, and clothed, oh the sweet smell...and honestly, it is one of my favorite parts of the day and I love it too!
Dallas Blooms - Texas Style
Today we went to the Dallas Arboretum. Their "Dallas Blooms" exhibit is going on now. Every year the theme for Dallas Blooms is different. This year the theme is Texas. They had all the different types of Bluebonnets and some of the flowers were designed to represent the different symbols of Texas (hat, Texas shape, star...). We all had a great time and enjoyed seeing all the beautiful flowers. Here are a few pictures from the days' outing!
Radio Flyer
Every little boy and girl needs their own Radio Flyer Wagon. So...Santa Claus brought Hayden his wagon for his first Christmas. Due to the unpredictable Texas weather, we haven't gotten to enjoy it until just recently. Daddy and Mommy went on a walk and pulled Hayden (and his friend Bear) for the first time in his wagon. He LOVED it! He was just taking everything in....the sky, the trees, leaves, the cars and he so enjoyed watching the kids playing and riding their bikes in the neighborhood.
NB 992
Hayden got his very first pair of tennis shoes. We had to special order his shoes, not once, but twice because our little guy seems to have rather "puffy" feet. Papa Joe says that New Balance's 992s are the best and of course we want nothing but the best. Here are pictures of Hayden and Papa Joe showing off their matching, new skids!!
Hoppy Easter
I know Eater, 2008 has been here and gone, but I wanted to share the pictures of Hayden's first Easter. We dyed eggs and the Eater Bunny did come. He left a basket full of all kinds of goodies for Hayden! These first pictures are of Hayden dying his first egg. I didn't get a picture of the finished product. Take it from a very proud Mama....his first egg was perfect and a beautiful color of orange!!
The Easter Bunny brought the little guy a big basket full of all kinds of goodies....bath toys, bubbles, a book, and of course eggs!! Here are some pictures of him exploring what the Bunny brought him!
